¡Bienvenidos!

Hello!  My name is Katie Creeger and I will be your Spanish teacher for this semester/year.  I know you are all excited about the new school year, right?  I mean, because everyone is always excited to come back from vacation!  :)  HA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to share some information about me and then I would like you to please fill out the link I have here to tell me a little about yourself and the best ways I can get in touch with you. Getting to Know You

I've already told you my name and you can guess that I am a Spanish teacher.  I have taught middle/high school Spanish (Spanish 1- AP Spanish Literature) for 19 years, and 3rd grade GT/Dual for a year and a half. I am back in high school but this year I will be the Dean of Students. I’m very excited about this as I will get to work with ALL students instead of just the kiddos in my classes. This will be my 23rd year in education. :)

We were able to travel this summer and went to Hawaii, Nashville and Seattle. It was great getting out and about again!

I have two sons, Jared and Drew. Jared is my oldest and he will be starting his junior year of college this fall.He attends UNT and is majoring in broadcast journalism. He moved into an apartment last week and I'm a little bit of a basket case right now! My youngest son is Drew and he will be in high school this year. He will actually attend the school where I work sooooooooo that will be a lot of fun for both of us. He swims competitively and started playing water polo this past February. He is also into the theater and will be in our law specialty.

My husband has his doctorate and is an educational consultant. . He also does consulting all over the country and that is where some of my travel comes from. He is very excited to be able to go visit schools in person instead of doing everything over Zoom.

So, that is a little bit about me-- there is more on my profile here in GVS so check it out there too.  All I can say is, "GO SEAHAWKS!"  I do hope the NFL will be able to play but if not, that is ok.

OK, your turn!  Please click on that blue hyperlink and tell me all about yourself!  I look forward to reading those and getting to know all of you this semester!
